I was born in Denver, CO, and was adopted two months later. I lived most of my life in Colorado, though I have lived in St. Louis since 1994. My wife’s family is in Missouri and my family is in Colorado. The first Sunday after I was legally adopted by my parents, I was adopted into God’s family in baptism. As a result, I have been a follower of Christ my whole life.
I met my wife, Linda, in Seward, NE, at the first church I served in. She taught in the Lutheran School there and also assisted me in youth ministry. We got married in 1985 and have three grown sons and one daughter, Michael, Jonathan, Joel, and Hannah. I served in Aurora, CO, from 1986 – 1994, where our three sons were born. We moved to the Oakville area in June 1994, when I was called to serve on the staff at Faith. I have overseen Adult Bible Classes, Assimilation, Small Groups, Confirmation, Faith Communities, Leadership Development, and Next Steps while at Faith. I love helping people grow spiritually as disciples of Christ through church activities and personal spiritual disciplines. I am passionate about connecting people to God’s Word, in community, images, and gospel causes beyond the church. I earned my bachelor’s degree as a Director of Christian Education in 1985 from Concordia in St. Paul, MN. This is a great season to be part of the work of God at Faith!
