I’ve called St. Louis home my whole life. I'm married to my best friend, Rick, and we have 2 adult children, Ryan and Lauren, who both live in Chicago. My husband and I were both Christians when we met, however, our faith life was lacking. One day, we were driving down Telegraph and saw a VBS sign at the (old) Faith location. That Sunday we attended with our children, and after being there 10 minutes, we knew Faith was “home”. That was 22 years ago!
In 2000, I joined the Faith staff as Director of Care Ministries. When we moved into the new Faith building shortly after, church attendance exploded and the care needs doubled. We set up several support group ministries for our church and the community. I went on to serve as the Director of Missions and Communities until 2014. I also started “Monarch” – a Faith Life Group which raises awareness & funds for sex trafficked women through jewelry and gift sales. We support Crisis Aid International’s Refuge home in St. Louis where these women can heal, restore, and be discipled in Christ.
I recently came back to Faith part-time, serving as the Life Group Mission Coordinator. I love working with groups and walking alongside them as they dream, vision, and plant how they want to make a difference in the lives of others as they encourage people toward Jesus.
