To practice the way of Jesus together

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to Me. Get away with Me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with Me and work with Me - watch how I do it.
Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with Me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.
Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)

With just these words, Jesus shows us a new way to live. His way is not a culture that constantly demands more and ultimately never provides what we need. Instead, His way promises rest and simplicity. His way constantly puts us in a position to bump into God’s grace. It does not come naturally. It takes practice, and it is not always popular.

You might be wondering, “How will Faith Columbia practice this way of living? What does it mean to practice the way of Jesus?”

It’s two simple things: Be with Jesus. Be like Jesus.

Imagine the followers of Jesus completely devoted to living with Gospel intentionality right where God has placed them.

Imagine a church where people are equipped, sent, and supported to pursue this life.

Imagine the impact in Columbia’s homes, neighborhoods, and communities!

It's Time

God has placed a unique mission on our hearts - a mission for our context and community.

Faith Columbia is taking a step in faith, to plant this group of people as a church living out its unique mission and vision specifically where God has placed us.

The impact of generous giving provides the opportunity to grow the church’s ministry and influence in Columbia and beyond. It allows us to sustain our current staff and grow as needs arise.

To plant Faith Columbia as a church and fully fund the ministry, we must grow in our giving

Grow in financial stability and generosity as each household raises their annual giving by 2% of their income each year for the next three years

Each of us can trust God to show us how we can give generously.
Pray and ask God to show you what is possible with His help over the next three years.

We are seeking partners to support the launch of this New Thing. While Faith Oakville, our sending church, and our district continue to be generous, we are far from fully funded.
