This is Jesus
Christmas originated with the celebration of Christ’s birthday and He is the reason for the season. But what is the truth about Jesus? We will tackle this question and more during this series.
FAITH OAKVILLE: This is not just Another series. “One Another” is a repeated expression in the New Testament, describing a culture where God’s people are to be connected to one Another in ways the world has not seen. As gifted and graced children of God, Christians are exhorted to love, accept, forgive, encourage, admonish, build up, serve, be subject to, bear with, confess to, be kind to, honor, and even greet one another as a group called the Body of Christ. And that’s just a partial list of the “one anothers”! During this six-week series, we will be highlighting often read “one anothers” in Scripture. Our goal in this series is to help people reconnect, not only with God but also with one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.
FAITH COLUMBIA: Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? With these words from Isaiah 43:19 God reminds His people that He has opened new doors, has provided ways when there seemed none, and led them where He wanted to go. Sometimes the way was clear. Sometimes it wasn’t. Ultimately, our relationship with God through Jesus is one lived by faith. In this series Pastor Jon will lead us through where we believe God is leading His church here in Columbia to. A New Thing beginning right now.
